吳欣慈 Annysa Ng
Annysa Ng was born in Hong Kong; she moved to New York in 2002. She studied art at Staatliche Akademie der Bildenen Künste in Stuttgart, Germany and School of Visual Arts in New York.
The simple outline and featureless interior of her silhouette drawing has a sense of clarity. However the limited physiognomic information also induces a mysterious imagination of what’s hidden in the dark.
She was awarded the Osaka Governor Prize by Nippon Modern Fine Arts Association, Fellowship for Mural Workshop at the National Academy in New York, and Residency in Czech Republic.
Ng’s works have been exhibited internationally including the 2007 SCOPE art fair in Basel, 'Young Artists from New York 2007' at the Egon Schiele Art Centrum in Czech Republic, Asian Contemporary Art Fair in New York, The Arts Collection NICHIGENTEN at Osaka Municipal Arts Museum in Japan and The 9th Chinese National Art Exhibition in Beijing.
Her work was collected by the Stuttgart City Library, Holtzbrinck GmbH & Co.KG, Germany and private collectors in many countries.
